Musk Move Seen As Boost To State Economy

(San Antonio, TX) — The relocation of Tesla’s headquarters to Austin will likely have ripple effects across the Lone Star State.

The Texas Association of Manufacturers says everybody wants to be close to Elon Musk. The organization says they’re already getting calls from manufacturing companies, some of whom are looking at Texas for the first time.

Their sales pitch is that the state has cheap energy costs and the transportation infrastructure that manufacturing needs.
