(Mansfield, TX) — Two men are in custody after Mansfield police reportedly caught them last month with a fleet of stolen cars and parts worth six-figures.

A tip led police to a place on South Highway 77 that reportedly housed the stolen vehicles and parts.  Detectives found 27 stolen vehicles, along with parts that had been removed from them.  The National Automobile Dealers Association valued the vehicles and parts at nearly $665,000.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Adedeji Awoniyi and 50-year-old Theria Mitchell on charges of organized crime and theft greater than $300,000.
