(El Paso, TX) —  Beto O’Rourke is suggesting Governor Greg Abbott accepted a bribe.

The Democratic candidate for governor says the Republican was given a million dollars by Energy Transfer Partners owner Kelcy Warren last year not to require gas suppliers to weatherize before winter storms hit.

O’Rourke also accused gas supply and energy traders of robbing Texans during last year’s winter storms.  He says the groups made $11-billion when the lights went out in 2021.

O’Rourke claims the state isn’t ready for another massive winter storm.
