False Alarm Reported At North Texas Middle School

(Haltom City, TX) – A report of a person with a weapon that came through a back door, sent a North Texas middle school into lockdown around lunchtime Wednesday.

Haltom City police say it turned out to be a false report at Haltom City Middle School. The school was put on a precautionary lockdown, but no weapons were found during a search of the campus.

Investigators determined there was no threat to the school and that all students and staff were safe.
