Veteran Fort Worth Officer Arrested For DWI In Police Car

(Fort Worth, TX) — A Fort Worth police officer is on restricted duty after his arrest for DWI in a police car.

The officer wasn’t in uniform at the time of his arrest on Tuesday. The department says he was working in a “support services capacity” and had no interaction with the public.

The officer’s name hasn’t been released, but he’s described as a 29-year veteran of the department.
