(Mansfield, TX) — Several Tarrant County school boards will be taking a conservative turn as a result of Saturday’s elections.
Ten of the eleven candidates backed by conservative PACs and donors won their races, and the 11th is in a runoff next month. The ten candidates were elected to the school boards in the Mansfield, Grapevine-Colleyville, Keller, and Carroll school districts.
They raised more than half a million dollars for the local races in a campaign to rid classrooms of critical race theory and get age-inappropriate books out of school libraries.
