AAA Texas: Statewide Gas Price Up 15 Cents From Last Week

(Undated) — The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $4.40 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up 15-cents from a week ago, a $1.69 more than a year ago and a new state record high. The national average is $4.76.

The average price at the pump in North Texas is 4.50 a gallon.
