(Undated) — It is another day of flight issues across the country. Over 67-hundred flights were either delayed or canceled across the U.S. Wednesday as a shortage of workers continues to hit the airline industry hard.

As of 4:30 am Thursday, more than 500 flights have been canceled within, into, or out of the country.

The news comes after American Airlines announced it was stopping service to multiple cities in September due to pilot shortage.  Over a thousand Southwest Airlines pilots hit the picket line at Dallas Love Field airport Tuesday.  They claimed that the airline’s scheduling inefficiencies make for overworked pilots and are just as frustrated as travelers.
