(Burleson, Tx) – A weekend gunbattle in Burleson left one woman dead and sent six people to jail.

Burleson Police say it happened on Northeast Wilshire Blvd Friday evening around 6:00.  Investigators worked three crime scenes following the shootings which ran from the 300 to 400 blocks of Wilshire Blvd, near the I-35 exit.  The six suspects, none of which are Burleson residents, were taken into custody in the early morning hours of Saturday.

Their names have not been released, but the innocent victim has been identified as 64 year old Kathryn Bryan.  Police say she was passing by in a vehicle when she was randomly struck by the gunfire.  The investigation is ongoing.
