Josh Duggar Begins Federal Prison Sentence

(Seagoville, TX) — Josh Duggar is beginning his life as a federal prison inmate.

Authorities confirmed the former “19 Kids and Counting” star has been booked into the Federal Correctional Institute in Seagoville, outside of Dallas. He’s serving a 12-year sentence on child pornography charges.

Duggar was convicted by an Arkansas jury last December for receipt and possession of child pornography. The judge at the time said he would try to send him to the Seagoville facility, which has a well-known sex offender treatment program.
