ERCOT Confident In Grid As Heat Blankets Texas Again

(Austin, TX) — The manager of Texas’ electric grid is confident in its supply of power as record heat continues across the state.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas says demand is not expected to top 80,000 megawatts while capacity hovers between 86 and 89-thousand.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for a large part of the state including North Texas.
