(Granbury, Tx) – The Hood County Sheriff’s Office reports a 9-year-old boy was killed in a shooting incident around 1:45 Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, the child identified as Levi Shaw, was found shot at a home on Abbey Park Court near Granbury and airlifted to Cook Children’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The Texas Rangers are assisting in the investigation, however little information about the shooting has been released.
