Brother Of Former NFL Star Wanted For Fatal Shooting At Football Game

(Lancaster, TX) — Police are looking for the suspect in a fatal shooting at a youth football game in Lancaster over the weekend.

Police responded about 9 p.m. Saturday to the reported shooting at Lancaster Community Park on Jefferson Street. Officers found out that the shooting had resulted from a fight between coaches and referees. The victim, 43-year-old Mike Hickmon, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The suspect left the scene. He’s identified as Yaqub Talib, the brother of former NFL cornerback Aqib Talib, who was also at the game but had not involvement in the shooting. Aqib Talib played his high school football in Richardson.
