Meet Copper, a central Texas transferee ready for his forever home. Copper isn’t the only one. He’s one of many pets recently transported to HSNT from flood-impacted shelters in Central Texas—each one given a second chance at life thanks to incredible teamwork and community support. At 5 years old, this Shepherd mix has a gentle soul and the heart of a survivor. After enduring the chaos and uncertainty of the floods, Copper is safe at last—but what he really needs now is a family to call his own.

He’s calm, kind, and quietly grateful for every ounce of love. While he’s heartworm positive, HSNT will cover his treatment so he can focus on what matters most: being your loyal companion. This resilient boy deserves to trade his heartbreaking past for a future full of comfort and care. Will you be his hero? Adopt Copper at our Keller Regional Adoption Center today.
