George Strait raised $6.25 million at his “Strait To The Heart” benefit concert on Sunday (July 27) at Estancia at Thunder Valley in Boerne.    The evening served as a heartfelt tribute to the resilient spirit of the region and a critical fundraiser to provide funds to impacted families.

The show consisted of a variety of popular Texas artists but was highlighted by a surprise appearance from Oklahoman Garth Brooks.  It marks the first time that Brooks and King George have performed together since 2013.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Senator Ted Cruz were also in attendance.
