Two of the Westoplex’s most recognizable morning radio personalities are about to share more than just airtime, they plan to share a lifetime.

Real Country 92.1 Hank FM congratulates KB(Ken Buckner) on his engagement to Elle of “Ranch Mornings” on 95.9 The Ranch!  They shared their good news with an on-air announcement Tuesday morning on both stations simultaneously.  Listener response has been very positive and both commented:

Elle:  “When we first met at a station event, I completely flubbed his name.”

Ken:  “She called me Kevin…”

Elle:  “But we were already finishing each other’s sentences by the first time we worked together.”

Ken:  I had told everyone that it would literally take thunder, lightning, galloping horses and trumpets blaring from above to make me consider another relationship.”

Elle: And then we were asked to be co-emcees at the annual Forth Worth Parade of Lights.   So, of course, every good parade has plenty of horses and trumpets.”

Ken: …and this one started in a thunderous rainstorm!  I took the hint.”

Elle:  On paper, we’re competitors in the market but in truth, we make each other better.”

Ken:  That was nearly three years ago and we’ve never looked back.”

Elle and KB  are excited to announce a date for the celebration in the coming weeks.  Once married, both will continue their respective morning shows, but now as husband and wife.
