
Congratulations to Tim McGraw and Paul Overstreet who were both named as new inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Tim earns this prestigious honor in the Modern Era Artist category having earned 49 #1 hits and selling over 106 million records. He has also won 14 CMA Awards, 13 ACM Awards and 3 Grammy Awards.
Also, going in to the Hall of Fame is singer/songwriter Paul Overstreet who will be inducted in the Songwriter category. In addition to his own hits like “Daddy’s Come Around” and “Seein’ My Father in Me,” Overstreet has written some of country’s most iconic songs. Those include “Forever and Ever Amen, ” “When You Say Nothing at All,” “Deeper Than the Holler,” “Some Beach,” “Love Can Build a Bridge,” and “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy.”
They will both be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame in October.
