(Cleburne, Tx) – An extra-large piece of equipment owned by Valero Petroleum, has tied up traffic in Johnson County for the last couple of days, as it makes its way to a processing plant near Amarillo.

The caravan for the 200 ft. long filtration stack started out two weeks ago from Freeport in the Gulf Coast and will take another two weeks to make it up to the Panhandle.  Yesterday the trucks inched their way from Cleburne to Glen Rose down Hwy. 6, taking about 6 hours to go just a mile and a half.  The caravan, which includes police officers to handle traffic and electrical workers to deal with stop lights and power lines, has to travel at a slow rate because the equipment is so heavy.

You can see a Video of the convoy on our Hank FM Facebook page.
