
(Stephenville, Tx) – Ranger College is offering a drone course for small business owners and sole proprietors who have been affected by COVID-19 that will take place from Oct. 15-17 at Ranger College’s Erath County campus in Stephenville.
According to the Stephenville Empire Tribune, the drone pilot course is grant-funded and was awarded by the Texas Workforce Commission. The normally $1,150 course is tuition-free for qualifying businesses. The Drone Piloting Course will provide a comprehensive course to learn the basics of drone operation, and the FAA 107 regulations that guide the industry.
The course will take part in three days – from 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 15, online on Oct. 16 and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 17.
The only required equipment is a smart phone or tablet.
