Ag Commissioner Calls On Gov To End Lockdowns

(Austin, TX) — Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, from Stephenville, is calling on Gov. Greg Abbott to end all pandemic-related business shutdowns immediately.

Miller made the appeal in a fundraising email on Friday, saying the shutdown is “worse than the disease.”

The message was sent out six-days after Miller, who is a Republican, and state GOP Chairman Allen West joined protesters outside the Governor’s Mansion in Austin for a “Free Texas” rally.
