Fort Worth Mayoral Runoff Candidates Spar In Virtual Forum

(Fort Worth, TX) —  The two final candidates for mayor of Fort Worth are trying to make their cases with the city’s voters.

Deborah Peoples and Mattie Parker appeared in a virtual forum on Wednesday.  The runoff election will decide which of them will replace outgoing Mayor Betsy Price.

Peoples has served as the chair of the Tarrant County Democratic Party and also has a background in corporate leadership.

Parker is an attorney with experience in Fort Worth city government, including as Mayor Price’s chief of staff.

The runoff is scheduled for June 5th.
