South Texas Highway Workers Heading To DFW Area For Storm Prep

(Pharr, TX) — A group of South Texas highway workers is heading to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to help prepare roads for a coming winter storm.

A 14-member team of TxDOT workers left Pharr yesterday. They will be in North Texas through Friday to assist with road prep as well as snow and ice removal.

North Texas is under a Winter Storm Watch with the National Weather Service saying up to three inches of snow are possible. Below freezing temperatures are also expected.
