(San Antonio, TX) — Governor Greg Abbott is promising to enact a “Parental Bill of Rights” to empower parents to make decisions about their children’s education.

Abbott was in San Antonio on Monday for a campaign stop where he spoke in front of a crowd of hundreds.

Republican state representative John Lujan joined the governor, who signed a pledge to make the “Parental Bill of Rights” happen when the state legislature meets again next year.
