Two Arrested In Parker County Murder Case

(Parker County, Tx) – Two men have been taken into custody in connection with the murder of a Mineral Wells man.

According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, the body of a man was found May 20th in a ditch next to the railroad track near the Acme brick plant in far western Parker County.  The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the victim had been stabbed to death.  He was identified as 38 year old Jamie Eugene Shaw Jr.  Investigators say witnesses helped lead them to the two suspects, William Floyd Watts and Leonard Ray Loftis, both of Mineral Wells.

Both men have now been apprehended and are currently in the Parker County Jail on murder charges.
