(Dallas, TX)  —  A movie is going to be made about the first American soccer team to ever win a major international tournament.

Multiple reports say Matthew McConaughey will star in Dallas Sting playing Bill Kinder, the North Texas man who founded the team in 1973.  The Dallas Sting were picked by the U.S. Soccer Federation to play in China for FIFA’s women’s world tournament which they ended up winning.

Production should start later this year.
