DFW Police Receiving Gifts Of Active Shooter Kits

(Fort Worth, TX) — A philanthropic couple from Fort Worth are supplying more than 300 North Texas law officers with active shooter kits this week.

Kelly and Jeff Dillard donated most of the kits, which include ballistic vests and helmets.  Other donors have also contributed in an effort to provide the police with protection from dangerous situations.  The Dillard’s had previously equipped the entire TCU Police Department with the vests.

The active shooter kits retail for as much as three-thousand-dollars each.
