(Newark, TX) — A 16-year-old girl is recovering after she received burns on her hands and legs in a Wise County house fire.

The blaze took place yesterday afternoon in Newark, leaving two dogs dead and six people displaced.  Authorities said it was a single wide mobile home on Country Living Drive.  The Red Cross is providing help to the displaced family.
