(Dallas, TX)  —  Southwest Airlines still has hundreds more Boeing 737 Max aircraft on order, and that’s not going to change.

CEO Gary Kelly on Thursday addressed a North Dallas Chamber of Commerce event and said it’s a good plane with a software problem that should be a fairly easy fix.  The Dallas-based carrier has 34 of the 737 Max aircraft in its fleet.

Southwest flies only Boeing aircraft, and is one of the airlines hardest hit by last month’s grounding of the Boeing 737 Max.
