(Granbury, Tx) – Hood County Commissioners have chosen Jeff Young to be the new Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator.

Young replaces short lived Fire Marshal Ciji Montemayor who resigned last October after only two months on the job.  Her appointment followed a shake-up and investigation in the department last year that resulted in the departure of Fire Marshal Ray Wilson.  Young was previously a former deputy Fire Marshal under Wilson.

While serving as Hood County Fire Marshal, Young also plans to keep his full-time job with American Airlines.  His first day on the job is today.
