Fort Worth Woman And Her Dogs Die In Early Morning Blaze

(Fort Worth, Tx) – Fort Worth Fire Department says there was a tragic outcome to an early morning house fire on the East side of town.

Around 4:30am the fire was reported at a house on Hudson Street in East Fort Worth.  When Firefighters arrived, they saw smoke and found “heavy fire” in the front of the house.  After putting the fire out, they discovered an elderly woman and two dogs dead in the back of the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation; however firefighters say they did not hear any smoke alarms going off in the house.
