(Fort Worth, TX) — A North Texas nonprofit founded by a veteran to help other vets is now offering assistance to first responders.

Formerly known as 22Kill, for the number of Veterans who take their life every day, the now One Tribe Foundation started out helping veterans deal with their mental health issues.  Now One Tribe is available to first responders and their families who are coping with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and suicide, intensified by a year of the pandemic.  One Tribe is working with the Fort Worth police and fire departments, and founder Jacob Schick hopes to take the effort nationwide.

The organization serves Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise Counties
