(San Antonio, TX) — An ESPN report says the Buffalo Bills are considering Austin as their possible new home.

The team is in negotiations for a new stadium and is reportedly using the threat of relocating to Austin, Texas or another city as a bargaining chip.  Texas’ Republican Governor Greg Abbott acknowledged his awareness of the possibility in a tweet but didn’t say what he thinks about it.

The Bills’ ownership is seeking approval for a taxpayer-funded stadium, costing more than a billion-dollars, in New York’s Orchard Park.
