State Fair Of Texas Closes Early Sunday Because Of Weather

(Dallas, TX)  —  The State Fair of Texas should be operating its usual hours today after shutting down early Sunday night due to the weather.

Management at the fair asked visitors to leave Fair Park by 8:30 p.m. because of the threat of severe weather, especially the possibility of high winds.  The storms were expected to move out of the Dallas area overnight.

The fair runs through next Sunday, October 17th.
