(Fort Worth, TX) — The capital murder trial of an accused cop-killer is on hold.

Fort Worth Police Officer Garrett Hull was killed in 2018 as he tried to arrest some armed robbers suspected of holding up several Latino bars.  Timothy Huff was reportedly part of the gang that was involved in the shootout.  Other officers killed the man who shot Officer Hull.  Huff and another man were arrested and charged with capital murder.

Huff’s trial was delayed on Tuesday morning because an attorney is ill.  It’s not clear when the trial will resume.
