(Fort Worth, TX) — The poles will soon be gone from Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth.

Renovations started Tuesday in the showroom at the legendary 120,000 square foot honky tonk.  The poles blocked the view of multiple people attending concerts for years.  Billy Bob’s also plans to raise the roof to help with sound quality.  The club will remain open during the two weeks of construction and concerts will temporarily move to the smaller Honky Tonk Stage.

Celebrating over 40 years in business, Billy Bob’s opened their doors on April 1, 1981.
