FORT WORTH, TX  (KTFW FM) – Students and faculty at Texas Christian University may have been exposed to the Mumps.  Tarrant County Health Officials say a person on the Fort Worth campus has a confirmed case of the contagious disease.  The department did not release information as to whether or not the infected person was a student or member of the university staff.

No other cases have been reported, but health officials say it can take up to 25 days to develop symptoms.  However, health officials believe there shouldn’t be an outbreak on the campus because most students have been vaccinated.

Anyone with questions is asked to contact the TCU Health Center.
