(Granbury, Tx) – Hood County Authorities say a man who allegedly shot his wife with a shotgun during an argument at their home on Ports O’ Call Drive has been arrested.

According to the Hood County News, the 53-year-old woman suffered superficial wounds when the shotgun pellets grazed her left side.  The Sheriff’s Office says she was treated and released from Lake Granbury Medical Center.  Her husband, 56-year-old Russell Wayne McDaniel was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful restraint.

No word on what the argument was about.
