(Washington, DC) — In a blow to Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the FDA and CDC have just announced that they are “recommending a pause in the use of this vaccine out of an abundance of caution.”

The move comes amid concerns of possible links between the vaccine and blood clots in some who get the single-dose shot.  Further details are expected at a news conference this morning.  Tarrant County opened a Johnson & Johnson vaccine center at AT&T Stadium this week.

Tuesday morning, the Arlington Fire Department posted on Twitter that they would no longer be administering the single-shot J&J doses at AT&T Stadium.
