ACLU Wants Probe On Abbott’s Order To Return Illegals To Border

(Austin, TX)  —  The American Civil Liberties Union wants the federal government to investigate Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order for state troopers to take illegal immigrants back to the border.

Abbott issued the executive order just over a month ago.  Enforcement of immigration law is up to the federal government, but the ACLU claims Abbott’s order encroaches on that authority.
